Pain Review Course 2025
Go Back to StoreThis course aims to provide information and increase the ability to recognize, evaluate, and effectively treat acute and chronic pain. The course is designed to benefit pain physicians, general anesthesiologists, pharmacists, CRNAs, nurse practitioners, and other health care professionals through a series of in-depth lectures headed by faculty and other leaders in the medical field.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify painful entities, both regional and generalized, and their anatomical and pathophysiological basis for diagnosis and treatment.
- Develop strategies for pharmacological intervention in pain states based on sound pharmacological principles.
- Explain the anatomical and physiological basis of painful states and their management.
- Describe the place of interventional pain management procedures in pain management based on evidence-based medicine.
- Describe the ethical and legal requirements for undertaking pain management.

Intended Audience
This educational activity is intended for all healthcare professionals who treat pain and are interested in partaking in a comprehensive review of the field, as well as other allied healthcare professionals interested in expanding their knowledge and improving their practice in pain medicine.
Learning Objectives

Statement of Need
Dannemiller is an organization dedicated to the presentation of postgraduate education courses for the purpose of updating and reviewing all areas in the specialties of anesthesia and pain management. For more than a decade, Dannemiller has sponsored numerous CME activities in the area of pain management. As a result of this experience, Dannemiller has had the opportunity to recruit the experts from all of the disciplines involved in pain management. Through evaluation of the Outcome Studies Reports of these previously sponsored activities, which incorporated feedback from both attendees and experts, Dannemiller has carefully planned this CME activity to provide information that will enhance the attendee’s ability to recognize, evaluate, and treat the patient with chronic pain.

Method of Participation
This activity should take approximately 34 hour(s) to complete. Participants should first read the objectives and other introductory CME/CE information and then proceed to the educational activity. To receive credit for this activity, participants must complete the post-test with a passing score of 80% and then complete the evaluation. Credit is provided through 05/31/2028. No credit will be given after this date. There is a fee to participate in this activity.
