Miles Day, MD, is currently the Traweek-Racz Tenured Endowed Professor in Pain Research, Medical Director of The Pain Center at Grace Clinic, and Pain Fellowship Program Director in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. After completing a surgical internship and anesthesiology residency at Texas Tech, he completed a one-year pain medicine fellowship under the guidance of Gabor Racz, MD, and P. Prithvi Raj, MD, at the same institution. He has served many roles in various pain organizations and is currently the President-Elect of the World Institute of Pain. He has published extensively and lectured worldwide on various topics of modern pain medicine. He has a special interest in the treatment of head and facial pain.
