This lecture is designed to benefit physicians, nurses, managers and researchers involved in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the interface with medicine. This episode brings together key stakeholders from the insurer/business world, clinicians, and developers tackling the role of AI in healthcare and the ramifications for patients and clinicians.

Statement of Need
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has gone from the realm of the future to our lives today. AI has the potential to influence most aspects of our lives. Clinicians have many questions and concerns about how AI affects patient care from evaluating disease processes, patient care choices, and post procedure management. The health care provider of today is inundated by the changing landscape of healthcare and media coverage. This activity will present the history constructs of AI, evaluate present issues clinicians deal with regarding AI, and provide a platform for future directions of technology from medical and ethical perspectives.

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Dannemiller. Dannemiller is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. |

Dannemiller has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for a maximum of 0.75 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. Approval is valid until 10/08/2025. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation. |
Method of Participation
This activity should take approximately 0.75 hour(s) to complete. Participants should first read the objectives and other introductory CME/CE information and then proceed to the educational activity. To receive credit for this activity, participants must complete the post-test with a passing score of 80% and then complete the evaluation. Credit is provided through 11/15/2025. No credit will be given after this date. There is $9.95 fee to participate in this activity.
