The Dannemiller Memorial Educational Foundation (Dannemiller) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) as a sponsor of continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.
The Purpose of the Dannemiller Memorial Educational Foundation (Dannemiller) Continuing Education (CE) Program is to provide physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals with superior-quality, scientifically rigorous, independent, and balanced educational activities for that are intended to improve the practice of medicine and ultimately, to enhance health care outcomes. Dannemiller employs a continuous cycle of needs assessment, development and implementation of activities, evaluation of activity effectiveness, and linkage of all steps to expected outcomes. Dannemiller strives to be distinguished in particular therapeutic core competencies and has enlisted experienced staff to support that goal.
The Goals of the CE Program are to:
- develop, maintain, and enhance the awareness, knowledge, skills, and behaviors that physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals need to provide quality services to patients;
- use innovative strategies to provide education for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals;
- establish educational partnerships through joint sponsorship;
The Content of the CE Program shall cover both primary care and specialty topics. Current specific core clinical areas of expertise include pain management, anesthesiology, gastroenterology, oncology, women's health, and cardiology.
